NOVI has grown significantly over the past 35 years

NOVI Science Park is located in Aalborg East, right next to AAU, the new Aalborg University Hospital, and The Faculty of Medicine. We have 90.000 sqm of offices and premises.

NOVI Property Fund

NOVI is a commercial foundation characterized by the non-existance of an ownership or membership structure that can receive dividends.

This means that any surplus and every success we achieve is allocated to the purpose that has been part of NOVI's DNA for more than 35 years: to stimulate and support the technological and business development in the region of Northern Jutland.

We believe that capital should work for a greater cause - and that's exactly what we do. NOVI is a private company operating without any state or municipal funding.

We listen to our tenants and involve them in our decision-making process when developing new initiatives.

In recent years, we have experienced an accelerating development; we have doubled the square meters within the last 7 years. Design-wise, NOVI's premises and graphic identity have changed, and our services have been expanded even further to make life a little easier for our companies.

We invest in the future development of Northern Jutland, something that both the employees and the board of NOVI are proud of.

Results and projects

Throughout its history, NOVI has initiated several initiatives for the benefit of business development in North Jutland, including:

 

  • Establishment of the NOVI Scholarship with annual awards to both AAU and UCN entrepreneurs
     
  • Establishment of 2 GrowAAL Entrepreneurial Houses (in Aalborg C and Aalborg Ø)
     
  • Establishment of the venture fund Investo Capital focusing on Danish early-stage companies within the Tech sector
     
  • Construction of the office building NOVI MEDI PARK (2026), with the aim of contributing to creating a strong ecosystem for Life Science, Digital Health, and Health Tech companies. The fundamental idea is to promote collaboration between companies, educational institutions, and the university hospital.
